Every couple has a different approach to planning a wedding. Some ask family and friends to help them organize the wedding as a cost saving measure. That works well, until someone forgets to hire the limo or someone else is making centrepieces at the last minute. Everyone has great intentions, but along the way things can fall through the cracks leaving you panicked and stressed.

Many couples do the bulk of the planning for their special day themselves. They select the vendors and choose a venue they like. Often as the wedding date nears, they find there are a lot of details and companies to juggle. It can be overwhelming. The question becomes how can they manage the details of the wedding day, when they have to get ready themselves.

That's where we come in!​

The Wedding Doulas have been wedding officiants for a very long time. We are familiar with the flow of the day and the cast of characters working together to make your day sensational. As "Day of" Coordinators (DOCs) we are present at the venue to ensure that everything goes smoothly behind the scenes. We are your last minute detailers making sure that everything is polished and ready. You just have to worry about making beautiful memories.

We offer two levels of DOC services:
DOC Level 1
Basic Service
Ceremony Only
Jeanette and Deb will ensure that everything runs smoothly on your wedding day from the moment you wake up until you say "I do."​
​
The DOC Team will arrive at your venue several hours in advance, overseeing set up and coordinating with your vendors including
Florists, Photographers,
chair and linen set up,
decor, and
the DJ or musicians.
We check that a signing table is present and the wedding license is available for the officiant.
We will also confirm the set up for other elements such as a memorial table, sand ceremony -- or any other additions arranged for the ceremony.

If necessary , "Reserved" signs for family and special guests will be put in place.
​
If needed, we will coordinate the line-up of the wedding party, confirm that the rings are present, and ensure that a microphone is available.
At the end of the ceremony, we can direct guests to a reception while you head off for photos.

Consultation, Creation of check-list, travel to and from venue, Coordination at venue.

DOC Level 2
"The Cadillac"
Service
The Cadillac Service option includes all the offerings in the the Basic Service descriptor and so much more!

The DOC Team will meet with you on Zoom and work along wiith you as you plan your wedding. In that first meeting, we will create your wedding day profile and begin a check list for the details of your wedding.
​
As the wedding nears, we will follow up with the vendors you have hired to introduce ourselves and ask how plans are progressing and report
any issues arising.
​
The week of the wedding, we will touch base with vendors and verify that plans are in place
and all is going smoothly.
​
On the day of the wedding, we will arrive a few hours ahead
and carry out the ceremony service protocol.
​
Additionally, we will oversee the placement of decor, dinner table arrangements, DJ set up,
and MC/Speech making requirements.

​Fee Includes:
Consultation, creation of your wedding profile, vendor check-ins a few weeks prior to the wedding, coordinating at the venue and overseeing the setup of reception.
